Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and detailed patient assessments to develop individualized pain management plans tailored to each patient's specific condition and needs.
• Administer joint injections and other pain relief procedures, ensuring patient comfort and tracking treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including doctors, physical therapists, and nurses, to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient medical histories, assessments, and treatments accurately in electronic health records while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in pain management practices and contribute to the development of best practices within the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, including arthritis, neuropathy, and post-surgical pain. You will be responsible for caring for a diverse patient population, including senior adults and individuals recovering from surgeries, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective pain relief.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physician Assistant license in New York State is mandatory.
• Exceptional clinical assessment skills are essential for evaluating patient conditions and planning appropriate interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must for effective collaboration and patient education.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
