Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand the individual needs of clients and collaboratively developing effective treatment plans.
• Providing evidence-based individual therapy using tailored modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote personal growth and emotional well-being.
• Establishing clear therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitoring their progress towards these goals.
• Offering virtual therapy options for accessibility, thereby ensuring that clients can receive care regardless of location.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with ethical standards and facilitating seamless communication within the care team.
• Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse client population, including individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and numerous other mental health challenges. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW, allowing for independent practice.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective time-management skills to handle a diverse caseload.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth therapy delivery and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms is highly desirable. Previous work with varied client demographics and experience in trauma-informed care will enhance your ability to connect and facilitate healing.

Compensation and Benefits
