Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for the following:

• Managing a caseload of clients, establishing trust and rapport through compassionate engagement while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular individual therapy sessions, reviewing client progress, assessing stability, scheduling future appointments, and facilitating safe and appropriate discharges.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans that are centered on client needs and goals.
\n
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates for each client.
\n
• Performing intake assessments that establish a comprehensive understanding of new clients' mental health needs

• Engaging actively in individual supervision sessions to reflect on practice and enhance clinical skills.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact a diverse outpatient population, including adults, children, and families navigating various mental health challenges. You will engage with clients facing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex mental health concerns, ensuring that each individual receives tailored treatment designed to foster healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• An active, unrestricted license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.

• At least one year of experience working in an outpatient clinical setting following graduation.
\n
• Proficiency in using technology, including competency with Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY software.
