Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at Tranquil Young Minds, you will:

• Provide a range of therapeutic services, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, to clients of all ages.
• Conduct detailed remote assessments to evaluate clients' strengths, challenges, and treatment objectives, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and needs.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams and community partners, coordinating care and resources to enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and follow-up activities.
• Utilize effective therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices relevant to diverse mental health issues.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Must possess one of the following fully licensed credentials: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with the ability to practice without supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to make professional evaluations and decisions regarding treatment planning and implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and compassionate approach to client interactions.
• Must be proficient with technology and open to using various digital platforms for telehealth services.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy in a remote setting, engaging effectively with clients through telehealth modalities.
• Previous experience working with multidisciplinary teams or in community mental health settings.
• Familiarity with documentation and billing practices within the mental health industry is a plus.
