Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, as you will provide at-home therapy to patients. You will enjoy a flexible schedule with standard hours from Monday to Friday, either from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Working in a home care setting means that every day is different, allowing you to develop unique, personal relationships with your patients while adapting your therapeutic approach to individual home environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of patients to evaluate their physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in accordance with the latest rehabilitation guidelines.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, exercises, and pain management strategies.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment processes, exercise regimens, and strategies for achieving shorter- and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and report on patient progress to ensure comprehensive care.
• Manage administrative tasks related to patient documentation and scheduling, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Carry On Physical Therapy, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including elderly individuals recovering from surgeries, younger patients rehabilitating from sports injuries, and individuals with chronic pain or mobility issues. Your approach will be tailored to each individual's specific circumstances, facilitating effective communication and building trust throughout the treatment process. Your expertise in various patient conditions will enable you to address a wide range of physical therapy needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient or home care environments.
• Strong understanding of physical therapy methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT or a similar platform.
• Background in manual therapy techniques or specializations in specific rehabilitation areas such as pediatrics or geriatrics.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
