You will have access to tools and resources to facilitate effective therapy sessions, including a secure electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain patient confidentiality and streamline documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and accurately identify their unique treatment needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience through evidence-based methodologies.

• Utilize effective therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide patients through their healing processes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping patients process their trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support in situations involving trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients feel safe and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).

• A strong theoretical background in trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated skill in delivering trauma-focused therapies, with a respect for the individual experiences of each patient.
