This position is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver high-quality mental health services from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather comprehensive patient histories and identify suitable treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop essential coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other allied health professionals to ensure integrated care management and optimal outcomes for patients.

• Providing crisis intervention services and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, assisting patients in coping with acute stress reactions.

• Educating patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to aid in recovery.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engaging in case consultations, participating in team meetings, and attending continuing education opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Staying current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to inform and enhance treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including survivors of physical, emotional, and psychological distress. Understanding the complexities of trauma and its impact on mental health is crucial, and you will employ trauma-informed care principles to create a safe space for clients to address their challenges. Your efforts will have a profound impact on the emotional and psychological recovery process for these individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A fundamental understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications to facilitate efficient documentation and communication.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in delivering comprehensive care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
