Although the role is remote, the Mental Health Therapist will connect with colleagues in an outpatient office setting, where teamwork and collaboration are emphasized. The ideal candidate will be comfortable utilizing virtual platforms to maximize efficiency in remote therapy sessions and case management tasks.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in both individual and group supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure adherence to treatment standards.

• Coordinate with the Oregon Health Authority to manage enrollment and discharge data for problem gambling treatment clients.

• Conduct joint case planning with various community agencies, such as schools, police departments, and healthcare providers, to create a holistic approach to behavioral health.

• Deliver educational sessions on behavioral health and addiction prevention to support community initiatives and enhance public awareness.

• Attend workshops, training sessions, and conferences as directed by management, applying gained knowledge toward agency practices and patient care.

• Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality improvement (QA/QI) plans, establishing essential policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned that contribute to the efficient operation of the agency and support client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will primarily work with an adult population facing various mental health challenges. Our focus is on individuals who require crisis intervention, long-term therapy, and holistic support for behavioral health issues. The therapist will utilize culturally competent strategies to ensure that care is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a safe and effective therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Psychology (PhD or PsyD), Master of Social Work, Master in Professional Counseling, or Master of Family Therapy from an accredited institution. The candidate must have fulfilled the necessary requirements for licensure to practice in the state of Oregon. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.

A minimum of three years of professional counseling experience is required, ideally in outpatient mental health settings. Compensation and Benefits\n
