Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Summit Behavioral Health Resources, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and building resilience, tailored to each client's needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster meaningful progress.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing an empathetic space for clients to process their trauma, acquire coping strategies, and work toward healing.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and heard.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available mental health resources to enhance their understanding and promote healing.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring client privacy and proper record-keeping.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, primarily focusing on individuals experiencing varying levels of trauma. This role also encompasses a willingness to support couples in their healing journeys, with training provided for those interested in this area.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

The salary range for this position offers competitive annual compensation between USD 70,000 and 110,000. Additional benefits include:
