In this role, you will deliver high-quality, trauma-informed therapy to clients in the comfort of their homes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding individuals on their path to recovery from trauma-related challenges.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience for both our therapists and clients. Our telehealth platform ensures that you can conduct virtual sessions seamlessly while maintaining the highest standards in mental health care. You will work Monday to Friday, with a schedule that may occasionally require adjustments to meet patient needs, typically within the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma history and ascertain their specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building strategies that empower patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective healing during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that support patients in processing their trauma, developing essential coping skills, and fostering overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring ongoing safety and stabilization for clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their family members on trauma responses and adaptive coping mechanisms, empowering them to navigate their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to collaborate on patient care and enhance your professional development focused on trauma-informed practice.

• Continuously stay informed about the latest research and best practices within the field of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients navigating the aftermath of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the unique opportunity to support individuals through their processes of healing and recovery, guiding them toward healthier coping strategies and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience delivering mental health services, particularly with trauma-affected clients.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience utilizing trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a caring and non-judgmental approach to client relationships.
\n
• The ability to maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios, providing immediate support when required.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team aimed at holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
