Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' histories and collaboratively define their treatment objectives.

• Design, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your therapeutic sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated patient care.

• Manage crisis situations by providing immediate support and interventions aimed at stabilizing patients during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about the psychological effects of trauma and equip them with tools and resources to aid recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records while adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities rooted in trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously update your knowledge of the latest methodologies and innovative practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with adults who have experienced various forms of trauma. Our clients often deal with the effects of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and associated mental health disorders. Your goal will be to support these individuals through their recovery journey by providing a compassionate listening ear and effective therapeutic interventions. Our practice emphasizes patient-centered care and aims to empower clients in regaining control of their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Proficient understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions with a track record of positive patient outcomes.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations with calm professionalism.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• Capability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
