Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work setting that prioritizes both the comfort of our therapists and the needs of our patients. Therapists are expected to have reliable access to a quiet and confidential workspace. The typical work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours based on patient availability and need.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' histories and determine suitable treatment methodologies.

• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience in patients.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing traumatic experiences, developing adaptive coping strategies, and facilitating healing.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other team members to ensure comprehensive, integrated care tailored to the needs of each patient.

• Offering crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to support patients in distress.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and additional resources available for support.
\n
• Maintaining compliant and confidential documentation, in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education activities that enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Keeping abreast of the latest research and methodologies relating to trauma therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily includes individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. The therapist will work closely with clients who are navigating the challenges of trauma recovery and are seeking a supportive, understanding environment to facilitate their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with a robust theoretical foundation in trauma studies, along with demonstrated proficiency in delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
