Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to effectively understand client needs, goals, and treatment history.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities.

• Provide ongoing psychotherapy, progress tracking, and adjustments to treatment strategies based on the client's evolving needs.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, clinical notes, and treatment plans, ensuring adherence to professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving diverse clients who present with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require a culturally sensitive approach to therapy, where you will utilize tailored strategies to meet their unique needs. You will provide support to both adults and adolescents within the educational system, offering valuable insights and resources to help them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A valid master’s level degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, PhD, etc.) to practice therapy in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of two years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy services to adults or adolescents.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and crafting detailed treatment plans.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster rapport and trust with clients.

• A clean professional record devoid of disciplinary action from licensing boards.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Empathy Edge Psychological Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
