Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite, providing direct home care to patients. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, which provides you with a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, crafting personalized treatment plans aligned with their specific goals.
• Maintain an appropriate caseload to guarantee dedicated attention to each patient while demonstrating expertise in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Apply a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help improve patients' mobility, flexibility, and strength effectively.
• Utilize non-surgical treatment options, emphasizing wellness, preventative care, and lifestyle modifications to reduce medication reliance.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously through regular evaluations and adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Document treatment sessions accurately using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall patient treatment approaches.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering an optimistic environment conducive to recovery.
• Implement customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's journey to regain functional independence.
• Provide ongoing education to patients about injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices to promote lifelong wellness habits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Evolve Spine and Sports Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these patients restore their physical function and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clear record devoid of sanctions or board actions.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and a strong aptitude for developing and executing effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR software, especially WebPT, to ensure accuracy in patient documentation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with patients and team members.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home health and knowledge of the unique challenges and rewards associated with providing therapies in a patient's home.

Compensation and Benefits
