Work Environment

This position is onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to understand their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Developing tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing functional impairments and enhancing mobility.
• Providing ongoing assessments and consultations to ensure continuity of care across healthcare providers.
• Educating patients and their families regarding treatment protocols and steps for recovery, ensuring they feel empowered in their health journey.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in patient status in compliance with state regulations and professional standards.
• Collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team, which may include physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to optimize patient care.
• Engaging in leadership initiatives such as community outreach programs, and participating in quality improvement measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• State licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficient computer and word processing skills to document patient care and manage administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience
