Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries or surgical procedures, using assessments to devise personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education to enhance mobility and manage pain.
• Conduct regular evaluations of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to meet established therapeutic goals.
• Document patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes diligently to maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Provide education and training to patients, family members, and caregivers about therapeutic exercises, use of assistive devices, and home care strategies.
• Attend continuing education workshops and engage in professional development activities to maintain relevant skills and knowledge in physical therapy practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency in using word processing software and electronic medical record systems.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient progress tracking.
• Flexibility and adaptability in clinical practice, ensuring patient-centric care.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, although new graduates will be considered.
• Experience in home care settings can be beneficial.
• Experience with specific populations, such as pediatrics or geriatrics, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
