This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to deliver care directly to patients from the comfort of your own space. Our clinic operates during regular business hours, with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some evening shifts may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Design individualized treatment plans that are both evidence-based and tailored to developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Implement therapeutic strategies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family therapy to effectively address anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage parents and caregivers, equipping them to create a nurturing and supportive environment for their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and positive outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young clients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment plans, and available community resources to enhance understanding and engagement.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights that promote collective growth and improved patient care.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices within child and adolescent mental health to inform treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure in New York State as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on the child and adolescent population.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of child mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office Suite to maintain documentation and messaging.
\n
• Team-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
