Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your own space while actively participating in meaningful client interactions. While you will be part of a virtual team, our outpatient office in Sacramento serves as a hub for collaboration and support. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough behavioral health screenings and assessments, utilizing evidence-based psychotherapy methods tailored to individual client needs.
• Deliver point-of-care services when necessary, ensuring clients receive timely interventions that align with their treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapy sessions for a diverse population that includes children, adolescents, and adults, applying specific therapeutic methodologies suitable for each age group.
• Initiate and engage in crisis intervention strategies, providing immediate support to clients in distress while coordinating with emergency services when needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical providers and social workers, to deliver holistic care that addresses the complex needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals across various age groups and backgrounds who are dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, you will play a critical role in facilitating therapeutic environments that promote healing and resilience in clients facing these challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Active and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential from the State of California is a must.
• At least two years of experience in providing counseling and therapy services in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children and adolescents is advantageous, as is familiarity with trauma-informed care.
• Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors that contribute to clients’ mental health issues, employing strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Previous experience in crisis intervention and managing complex clinical cases is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
