Burtke Orthopedic Physical Therapy is seeking dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapists to join our dynamic team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will work on-site at our rehabilitation facility in Woodbridge, New Jersey, from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 2 PM to 8 PM. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patients' quality of life through personalized therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments and physician recommendations, facilitating patient engagement and goal achievement.
• Conduct detailed evaluations to assess functional and therapeutic status and create comprehensive care plans that cater to the specific needs of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide treatments in various settings, including in-clinic care and home health therapy as needed.
• Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of assistive devices to encourage active participation in their recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities and patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards and professional ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure continuity of care, prioritizing case loads and optimizing staffing needs to meet daily operational demands.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include adult and pediatric orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will employ a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, addressing not only physical impairments but also contributing to emotional and psychological support to boost patient morale and motivation during their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required; candidates must obtain this certification within 30 days of employment.
• No prior experience required; we welcome emerging professionals eager to make a positive impact.

Preferred Experience

• While not mandatory, experience with orthopedic patients or knowledge of rehabilitation methodologies will be advantageous.
