This position is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining connections with a vibrant, collaborative team. Despite the remote setting, our practice ensures a close-knit, supportive atmosphere with opportunities for regular peer consultations and supervision. We also maintain an outpatient office in Houston, Texas, where team members can occasionally meet for strategizing and sharing best practices, though the majority of client interactions will occur through teletherapy.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques suited to each client's unique circumstances and backgrounds.

• Collaborate closely with clients to set clear therapeutic goals, constantly monitoring and adapting strategies to ensure effective progress throughout the treatment journey.

• Provide flexible teletherapy options, ensuring accessibility for clients facing mobility challenges or who prefer virtual sessions from various locations.

• Document client interactions accurately and in a timely manner to adhere to ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with industry practices.

• Engage proactively in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices and enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse client base includes individuals facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will work with clients from all backgrounds, utilizing an integrated approach to therapy that respects and responds to the unique cultural, social, and personal factors impacting their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)

• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a safe, trusting environment for clients to share their experiences and challenges.

• Demonstrable empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients' diverse experiences.

• Effective organizational and time-management skills to manage caseloads and administrative duties efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings, ideally with a focus on providing therapy services via telehealth.
