Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Kelso Comprehensive Therapy Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial evaluations of trauma patients to assess their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific circumstances.

• Providing therapy sessions to support patients in managing and overcoming emotional and psychological challenges associated with trauma.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitoring progress in collaboration with patients, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Educating patients about coping mechanisms for stress and trauma, empowering them to develop skills that enhance their resilience.

• Collaborating with a network of social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure patients receive comprehensive care that promotes their recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and timely records of patient interactions and treatment progress utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Participating in professional development, including completing continuing education requirements necessary for maintaining the National Certified Counselor certification.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
