Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing trauma-informed counseling to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families.

• Integrating Christian counseling principles during therapy sessions for clients seeking a faith-based approach.

• Developing personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs and therapeutic goals.

• Managing a caseload derived from referrals, particularly from local churches, thereby enhancing community outreach.

• Collaborating with other mental health professionals, such as clinical counselors and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintaining accurate client records and timely progress notes utilizing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

• Communicating effectively with the center director regarding your availability and scheduling preferences.

Your clients will span a wide demographic range, ensuring that you will work with various populations and age groups. We focus primarily on individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relational issues, and other mental health challenges that benefit from a nurturing, faith-informed approach.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
\n
• An active, independently licensed credential as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Washington, DC.

• A strong understanding of the Bible and proficiency in Biblical counseling techniques.
\n
• At least one year of experience in trauma counseling.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would enhance your application:
