Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children's needs to identify strengths and areas of growth.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), tailored to the unique situation of each child.

• Monitor and evaluate outcomes throughout the active engagement with families, ensuring that treatment goals are being met effectively.

• Establish strong rapport with children and their families, promoting a safe and supportive environment for their growth.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and adhere to Natural Learning Environment Practices to support child and family engagement.
\n
• Provide families with essential information, strategies, and skills to enhance their child’s developmental journey.

• Apply a coaching model for teaching, fostering independence and growth within natural settings.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations governing the provision of social work services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on assisting children from birth to three years of age who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities. As a social worker at Intimate Bridge Counseling, you will provide tailored interventions that address physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and communication skill development, facilitating healthier growth trajectories for these young clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW by the Department of Public Health in Kansas.
\n
• At least one year of professional experience working with children in early intervention settings.
\n
• Demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices effectively.
\n
• Ability to engage with families flexibly and adaptively, meeting varying learning styles and needs.
\n
• Valid driver's license to facilitate potential family home visits when necessary.
\n
• Proficient communication skills and organizational abilities, equipped to manage multiple cases effectively.
