Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children and families.

• Collaborate with families to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) that align with their priorities and concerns.

• Monitor and analyze outcomes as a committed member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that care is effective and responsive to the evolving needs of children.

• Provide consistent support and education to families regarding strategies that promote their child’s physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication development.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices within a Natural Learning Environment framework, adapting teaching approaches to cater to diverse learning styles.
\n
• Implement IFSP recommendations for enrolled families, adjusting the frequency and type of services based on ongoing assessments.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations, ensuring our practices meet the highest standards of care and safety.
\n
• Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on working with young children, particularly those aged birth to three years, who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. You will engage with families from diverse backgrounds, providing tailored interventions that consider their unique circumstances and cultural contexts. Your support will directly influence the child’s ability to thrive and develop essential skills during crucial early years.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.

• Current LCSW licensure in New York State, issued by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license.

• One year of experience in working with children in early intervention settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
