Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and the establishment of healthy coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster significant healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work aligned with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated, coordinated care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies while connecting them with community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities centered on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment approaches, and resilience-building processes.

• Demonstrated expertise in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, underpinned by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications to streamline documentation and patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly focusing on trauma services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
