Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments to identify the specific needs of students.

• Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) in collaboration with families and educational teams.

• Monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans by assessing student progress and making necessary adjustments.

• Provide ongoing support to families, offering strategies and resources to address mental health challenges and enhance child development.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops for students and families on relevant mental health topics.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with all Federal and State regulations.

• Collaborate actively with teachers and school administrators to create a supportive environment conducive to the mental well-being of students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily serve school-aged children and adolescents in a virtual setting, addressing a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. By assessing the psychosocial dynamics within families and schools, you will facilitate interventions that not only support individual students but also promote healthier school environments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and unrestricted LCSW licensure in the state of New Jersey.
