Potential Motion Health is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with a work setting that emphasizes collaboration and communication among team members. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies designed to support the recovery and rehabilitation process. This onsite role ensures that the Physical Therapist works closely with fellow healthcare providers, including occupational therapists, medical doctors, and nursing staff, creating a cohesive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal and neurological functions to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based hands-on techniques and therapeutic exercises, utilizing modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy to alleviate pain and restore functionality.
• Provide education regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and lifestyle modifications to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Regularly monitor patients' progress, documenting changes in their condition and adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise comprehensive care strategies and ensure seamless integration of services to enhance patient recovery.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatments administered, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions such as arthritis. Our focus is on treating conditions that affect movement and quality of life, including back and neck pain, joint pain, sprains, strains, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience in a clinical setting, with documented treatment of a range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Proficiency in various physical therapy techniques and modalities, alongside the ability to stay updated on emerging rehabilitation practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with patients and their families, fostering trust and understanding in the therapeutic process.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a Rehabilitation Center or outpatient clinic setting is highly preferred.
• Strong background in developing individualized treatment programs based on evidence-based practice.
• Ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
