Active Relief Physical Therapy is actively seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Highland Park, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is set within a dynamic onsite rehabilitation facility, open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. You will work closely in a collaborative atmosphere while applying the latest therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices. Your interactions with patients will take place in a warm and welcoming environment that prioritizes holistic health and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation objectives.
• Deliver individualized therapy sessions designed to improve motion, strength, and functional abilities, utilizing manual therapy techniques and exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress through consistent evaluations, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies to support ongoing recovery.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with healthcare regulations, utilizing EMR software such as Web PT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment options, promoting health and wellness through fitness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various movement disorders. We focus on creating personalized rehabilitation experiences that foster independence and promote active lifestyles. Your role will involve motivating and empowering each patient, ensuring their care is centered on their unique goals and preferences.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Ability to effectively utilize electronic medical record systems, with experience in Web PT as a plus.
• Possess a solid foundation in current physical therapy methodologies supported by research and clinical best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly advantageous, as it equips you with the skills necessary to address patient needs in our specialized practice.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing patient-centered rehabilitation programs.
• A background in sports medicine or experience working with athletes can be beneficial, given our facility's focus.

Compensation and Benefits
