Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs in a home care or facility setting.

• Regularly assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide educational training to patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic exercises and the use of assistive devices, ensuring comprehensive understanding and support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment progress and patient responses in compliance with organizational protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional education through workshops and conferences to stay updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adults, and elderly individuals experiencing a range of physical conditions. Our patients may include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including word processing, for documentation and reporting purposes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, though new graduates motivated to learn will be considered.

Compensation and Benefits
