Work Environment

Located in the heart of Woodbridge, New Jersey, our rehabilitation center offers an onsite, dynamic work environment conducive to professional growth. The center is designed to ensure patient comfort and accessibility, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and therapy spaces that encourage comprehensive recovery strategies. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with a supportive team of healthcare professionals committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess each patient's physical and functional capabilities, utilizing diagnostics that may include physical assessments and functional movement analysis.
• Create tailored rehabilitation plans that focus on the unique goals and needs of each patient, ensuring a personalized approach to recovery.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on effective body mechanics, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs and outcomes as patients progress in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to deliver holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain detailed records of patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, although we welcome seasoned professionals with extensive backgrounds.
• Proficiency in contemporary physical therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and formulate effective treatment strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in providing therapy for orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
• Experience with various modalities, including therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
