Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity runs from late July 2026 through May 2027 and is full-time, providing the chance to truly make a difference throughout the entire school year—including essential pre-planning days.

You’ll work primarily with Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, managing a small caseload of up to 10 children. There may also be an opportunity to support an instructional segment in the upper grades if needed. The current classroom has no significant behavioral challenges assigned and does not anticipate students requiring toileting assistance, making it an ideal environment for focused, individualized instruction.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Georgia PSC Teaching Credential required
• P-12 Special Education General Curriculum Endorsement mandatory
• Experience in elementary special education preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong collaborative skills for working with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
