Work Environment

As a nurse practitioner at Healing Hands, you will work in an outpatient office setting, collaborating closely with a team of healthcare professionals who are equally passionate about community service. Your typical work schedule will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with some evenings extending until 8:00 p.m. Participation in community outreach and health fairs on weekends will also be part of your role, enriching your engagement with the local population.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments and screenings for patients of all ages, utilizing evidence-based practices to identify their unique healthcare needs.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, including conducting routine preventive care and promoting health education tailored to the community's demographics.
• Actively collaborate with local organizations and partners to develop customized health education programs that address prevalent health issues in Hempstead.
• Ensure the provision of culturally sensitive care, advocating for patients’ rights while navigating their individual healthcare journeys.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care to guarantee seamless continuity of services, with an emphasis on supporting patients through challenges such as access to care and transportation.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The Healing Hands Healthcare Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
