Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Providing psychoeducation to clients regarding perinatal mental health and facilitating comprehensive assessments.

• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of clients under clinical supervision.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with JCAHO and Medicaid standards.

• Leading and facilitating therapeutic group sessions that promote healing and personal growth among participants.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each client's unique needs and circumstances are thoroughly addressed.

• Establishing and nurturing relationships with community referral sources, including healthcare providers and local organizations.

• Conducting individual therapy sessions and coordinating with clients' families and caretakers to enhance support systems.

• Participating actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
