Websteridence Physical Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home care team in Fords, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is oriented towards home care, meaning you will be providing therapy services directly in patients' residences. This environment allows for personalized care, where you can tailor your treatment approaches based on the unique needs of each patient and their home setting. Working with our supportive team, you will enjoy flexible scheduling, capable of choosing hours that best fit your work-life balance. Regular working days will be Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to determine the most effective therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may involve a variety of therapeutic techniques including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home care practices, and use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Provide training and support to caregivers and families, ensuring they understand the therapies and devices being used.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through continuous education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from children to adults experiencing a wide array of physical challenges, such as post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and rehabilitation following injuries or medical conditions. You will be instrumental in helping these individuals regain their independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals in a comfortable and familiar environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients, families, and health care teams.
• Proficient in using electronic documentation and basic computer software for managing patient records and developing care plans.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to changing environments and patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, we welcome new graduates seeking mentorship and training in home care.
• Experience with assistive devices and home-based therapy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Websteridence Physical Therapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
