Embark on a rewarding contract assignment working with students in specialized education settings at the elementary and PreK levels. This opportunity is based in a supportive school environment and runs from ASAP through May 26, 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week. You'll collaborate with paraeducator support in self-contained classrooms, making a significant impact on students’ growth and development.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SPED license (open to those with emergency/pending credentials, including teachers participating in Teachers of America and ITeach programs)
• Experience with K-2nd grade students with autism and PreK special education preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction and navigate self-contained settings
• Flexibility and strong communication skills to foster partnerships with staff and families
• Eagerness to work onsite in person (remote work is not available for these roles)
• Willingness to relocate or commute to the area as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and interventions to elementary and PreK students with special needs in a self-contained classroom
• Collaborate with paraeducators, specialists, and school staff to ensure student success
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Engage in regular communication with parents and caregivers
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
