Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center is a state-of-the-art facility designed to foster an environment of healing and support. Located in Fort Lauderdale, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic team setting, equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technology. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a caseload of patients, providing specialized care aimed at improving their mobility and daily functioning.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy techniques and exercise programs specific to orthopedic conditions.
• Encourage patients' participation and motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey to foster a positive recovery experience.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their development and feedback.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Provide patient education and resources to promote health and wellness outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role includes working with a diverse population of patients, primarily those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain disorders. You will engage with individuals of varying ages, working to empower them through tailored treatment strategies and encouraging them to adopt healthier lifestyles through education and motivation.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Educational attainment of either a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• No record of disciplinary or board actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs.
• Experience using electronic medical records systems, such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• A proactive approach to patient engagement and motivation during therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 95,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
