Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and nurture therapeutic rapport with patients and their families, ensuring a receptive and empathetic atmosphere.

• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate patients for suicidality and determine risks, ensuring safety is prioritized at all times.
\n
• Facilitate a smooth admission process for new patients, exemplifying professionalism and warmth, and actively engaging in clinical outreach.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, discussing treatment goals and progress with colleagues and providing additional clinical support where needed.
\n
• Conduct utilization reviews to insurance providers by delivering accurate clinical information necessary for obtaining authorizations for treatment.
\n
• Maintain accessibility to patients’ family members by ensuring timely communication, returning calls and emails within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours at other times.
\n
• Coordinate with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding insurance authorizations and payments, ensuring continuity of care through effective communication with referral sources and outpatient providers.
\n
• Begin discharge planning upon each patient’s admission and facilitate discharge sessions to confirm understanding of coping strategies and transition plans.
\n
• Manage crises effectively during therapy sessions and support milieu staff in maintaining a therapeutic environment.
\n
• Complete clinical documentation promptly and accurately, with all records assembled in real-time during the service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele comprises diverse individuals seeking support in various areas of mental health, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health challenges. You will work with a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, ensuring that each individual’s unique experiences and needs are addressed with utmost care and consideration.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.

• Possession of an independent license in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload while maintaining organized, effective treatment plans.

• Strong commitment to positively impacting the lives of individuals within the behavioral health field.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on effective electronic communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a clinical setting while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in conducting utilization reviews and navigating insurance authorizations.

• Proven track record in crisis management and conflict resolution within therapeutic contexts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
