Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility for our therapists while still maintaining a strong connection with our multidisciplinary team. Our workdays generally take place from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. You will have access to telehealth tools and support systems that enhance your ability to connect with patients effectively and maintain continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique cultural context, personal history, and mental health needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Tailor your approach to accommodate the cultural and personal backgrounds of your patients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a wide range of mental health concerns and promoting overall resilience and well-being.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated care, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s mental health are considered.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during emergencies, utilizing your training to help stabilize and guide patients through crises effectively.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their care journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings to share insights and strategies, as well as participate in cultural competency training sessions to continually grow your skillset.

• Stay informed about the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and cultural considerations critical to the mental health field.

This role focuses on providing mental health care to a diverse patient population that includes ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. As a therapist, you will play a vital role in understanding the unique challenges these groups face, utilizing culturally informed therapeutic practices, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that fosters trust and openness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or psychologist is required.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and principles of cultural competence.
\n
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy with approaches sensitive to diverse backgrounds and needs.
\n
• Proficient crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated capability to build rapport with patients from all walks of life.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology applications.
\n
• A steadfast commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and professionalism.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
