Life Works Psychiatric Center is actively seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality mental health counseling to a diverse array of clients. Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining the collaborative culture of our outpatient setting. Therapists will engage in a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Our office encourages a collaborative atmosphere where therapists can meet for case consultations, best practices discussions, and professional development activities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges, and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to create a sense of community among patients and enhance their coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and support clients during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and sensitive responses to their needs.
\n
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and treatment options, empowering them to utilize available community resources effectively.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and legally compliant documentation of patient interactions and progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Stay up-to-date with current research in mental health therapy and participate actively in ongoing education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds seeking help for mental health challenges. You will work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing a wide range of issues that impact everyday functioning and overall well-being. This diversity ensures a dynamic work environment where you will continually refine your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies, with proven experience in individual and group therapy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, displaying empathy and effective listening abilities.
\n
• Commitment to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling, particularly in an outpatient setting, is preferred. Familiarity with the latest therapeutic techniques and commitment to continuous learning will set candidates apart.
