Work Environment\n

This position is structured as a remote, full-time role, providing the flexibility to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Although primarily remote, therapists will occasionally collaborate with colleagues in our outpatient office located in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the understanding that there may be occasion for flexible hours based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' unique experiences, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans that reflect individual needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address mental health symptoms, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness strategies in sessions.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a holistic approach that promotes personal resilience and mental well-being.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide cohesive and rounded care that encompasses all aspects of a patient’s mental health.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support strategies to be deployed during clinical emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources that provide additional support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards.
\n
• Actively engage in team case conferences and cultural competency training to enhance the level of care provided.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in mental health treatment, particularly concerning culturally relevant practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Recognition (LCSW-R) in the state of Florida.

• A strong understanding of contemporary mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, along with cultural competence in therapy provision.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions with an emphasis on culturally responsive methods.

Compensation and Benefits\n
