Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments via telehealth to determine the specific needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that take into account the individual developmental stages of clients and involve family dynamics as essential components of care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and guardians to create an emotionally supportive environment for their children.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists, social workers, and educators to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client’s needs.

• Provide crisis intervention support to manage urgent mental health situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of young clients.

• Educate patients and families about potential mental health challenges and available community resources, promoting informed decision-making.

• Maintain stringent documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards, including accurate record-keeping within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance your skills and remain updated on best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and ADHD. You will work closely with these young individuals, primarily aged 5 to 18, and their families, providing empathetic support and evidence-based treatment tailored to their unique experiences and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Exceptional knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Proficiency in telehealth delivery and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health services to children and adolescents.

• Demonstrated experience conducting individual and family therapy.
\n
• Familiarity with diverse therapeutic modalities and community resources relevant to mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
