This remote position involves providing vital mental health services to young clients and their families while collaboratively working in a community health clinic setting. You will hold a pivotal role in the mental wellness of children and adolescents, guiding them to overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

This role operates in a fully remote setting, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong collaborative team atmosphere. Although primarily virtual, our therapists engage regularly with colleagues through telehealth consultations and collaborative care meetings. The workweek follows a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying specific needs and concerns.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that take into account the developmental stages and family dynamics of each young client.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address an array of mental health issues, ensuring that interventions are age-appropriate and culturally sensitive.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, specifically focused on children and adolescents.

• Educate both patients and their families on understanding mental health conditions, exploring available treatment options, and identifying relevant community resources.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation and case notes in compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, exchanging insights during case consultations, and participating in professional development opportunities.

• Remain informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of child and adolescent mental health, continuously integrating new knowledge into practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, as well as evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and family therapy for young individuals, demonstrating a commitment to client-centered care.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, nurturing approach that resonates with children and families.

• Capability to establish rapport and build trust with diverse families and children, recognizing and respecting their unique backgrounds and circumstances.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n
