Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Physician Assistant will include:

• Conducting thorough patient consultations, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and formulating appropriate treatment plans.
• Performing advanced interventional procedures such as Ultrasound Guided Trigger Point injections, nerve blocks, and joint injections to alleviate acute and chronic pain.
• Reviewing and interpreting patient lab results, diagnostic studies, and therapy notes to evaluate treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments.
• Administering medications and therapies, monitoring patient progress, and managing pharmacologic treatments for pain and related conditions.
• Triage patient inquiries and respond to medical emergencies while ensuring continuity of care.
• Documenting all relevant patient information meticulously in electronic medical records to maintain accurate and up-to-date health information.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors, to provide integrated care.
• Engaging in community outreach to promote our services and generate referrals.
• Upholding patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.

You will be working with a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in pain management or a related specialty.
• Familiarity with modern EMR systems, specifically Modernizing Medicine, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our compensation package includes:
