Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, considering the severity, frequency, and duration of their experiences.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster clients' progress.

• Provide comprehensive education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the mental health field, specifically relating to mood disorders, to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain complete and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to continually advance your clinical expertise.

• Advocate for clients, promoting understanding and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Advanced knowledge and demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly for mood disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and willingness to collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Track record of successful client outcomes in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
