Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients in need of physical therapy, taking into account their individual medical history and current health conditions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques, including exercise, stretching, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting treatments and outcomes meticulously to ensure effective adjustments to therapeutic strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide interdisciplinary support to enhance patient recovery.
• Provide education and training on assistive devices, therapeutic exercises, and effective self-care techniques to patients, caregivers, and family members.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, contributing to research, and networking within the professional community to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a part of our team, you will primarily serve adults and children recovering from various injuries, surgeries, and medical conditions. Our patient demographics vary widely, providing an opportunity to understand diverse therapeutic needs and conditions, enhancing your skills as a practitioner. The patients you treat may include those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid state license for physical therapy practice in New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills conducive to patient education and effective collaboration with team members.
• Proficient in using technology for documentation and administrative procedures.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying patient needs and work demands.
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of professional integrity and patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy is preferred, although recent graduates with strong clinical training will also be considered.
• Experience in outpatient settings or working with diverse patient populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
