Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough multidisciplinary assessments to evaluate each child’s developmental status, tailoring services that address their unique needs.

• Implement direct child development services using age-appropriate strategies for children aged 0-3, ensuring that families are actively engaged in the process.

• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs), identifying specific goals, objectives, and strategies tailored to each child’s developmental journey.

• Document progress through meticulous notes, reports, and assessments to monitor outcomes and adjust interventions as necessary.

• Facilitate supportive individual and group interventions focusing on developmental milestones in cognition, adaptive behavior, social-emotional skills, and communication abilities for infants and toddlers.

• Provide comprehensive assessments of family strengths, resources, and concerns, cultivating trustworthy relationships that promote advocacy and involvement.
\n
• Act as a service coordinator, overseeing the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of intervention plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and procedural guidelines.

• Guide family interactions, empowering parents as advocates for their child’s needs while promoting healthy parent-child relationships.

In this role, you will engage predominantly with a pediatric population, specifically focusing on infants and toddlers from birth to age three who experience or are at risk for developmental delays. • A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license is required to practice in Washington.
