Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture therapeutic relationships with patients to foster trust and promote engagement in treatment.
• Perform thorough assessments to diagnose mental health issues, crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.
• Conduct individual and couple's therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to facilitate emotional healing and behavioral change.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor patient progress to ensure treatment goals are being met and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, making appropriate referrals when specialized treatment is needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Meridian Mind Healthcare, Inc., you will work with a diverse patient population. Your clients will include individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health disorders. With a focus on providing holistic and tailored care, your role will be integral in helping clients navigate their emotions and achieve meaningful change in their lives.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong therapeutic skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, providing support to clients dealing with substance use disorders.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices for managing co-occurring disorders.
• Previous experience working in a community health setting or outpatient therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
