Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, evaluating their emotional, psychological, and developmental needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that respect the unique developmental stages of each patient, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to support clients effectively.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, engaging parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process to nurture a supportive home environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care that emphasizes the well-being of the patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support to children and adolescents facing acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, promoting understanding of treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential records adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

• Stay abreast of current research, innovative practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health to continually enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, ages 5 to 18, who are facing mental health challenges. This population often includes those dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), trauma, and various behavioral issues. Your role is pivotal in providing a safe space for young individuals to express their feelings and navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with effective treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting focusing on child and adolescent populations.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy to young patients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Familiarity with telehealth technology and remote therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer a competitive sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
