Work Environment\n

This position operates in a flexible remote work setting utilizing telehealth modalities. You will primarily engage with clients via secure video conferencing software, ensuring they receive the support they need in a comfortable and familiar environment. While our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we understand the necessity for some flexibility to accommodate diverse patient schedules and urgent needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that consider the client's cultural context and personal background, allowing for the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to fit individual client needs, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness strategies.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, working to address a broad range of mental health concerns and fostering resilience among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to coordinate integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services to support clients facing acute mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards, ensuring the privacy of all patient information.

• Engage consistently in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities, including training focused on cultural competency.

• Stay abreast of current research and methodologies in mental health to continuously improve therapy techniques and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work primarily with clients from diverse backgrounds and demographics. This includes ethnic and cultural minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant populations who may face unique challenges. Your role will be instrumental in providing them with safe and affirming therapeutic experiences, directly contributing to enhancing their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW to practice in the state of Oregon.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders along with evidence-based interventions suitable for diverse populations.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive methods.

• Solid crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technologies essential for documenting client interactions.

• A firm commitment to uphold ethical standards, maintain professional boundaries, and safeguard client confidentiality.

• Experience collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, applicants with a background in working with underserved populations, or who possess bilingual capabilities to communicate effectively with non-English speaking clients, will be given preference. Awareness of culturally specific treatment frameworks and previous experience in teletherapy will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
