Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gather critical information about patients’ trauma histories and establish baseline symptoms.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs, focusing on trauma recovery methodologies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including trauma-focused therapies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families on the impact of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in adherence to health care regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your patients will primarily include individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and those experiencing significant life stressors. By providing compassionate care that respects each client’s unique journey, you will have the opportunity to empower them to achieve meaningful recovery outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and supportive interventions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to approach clients with empathy and without judgment.

• Competence in managing high-stress situations with a calm demeanor.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a good grasp of necessary computer applications.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
